The fight for inner stability when you've lost "everything": Dan Pomerantz
Description
If you could only afford therapy or food - which would you choose?
It sounds like an odd question. We'd think that the obvious answer would be food.
That's the choice Dan Pomerantz weighed up at his personal rock bottom... and he chose... therapy.
It was a question of choosing to cultivate inner stability in order to get back on his feet and create the outer safety we all need.
While moving through homelessness, Dan looked to build his internal home which helped him develop the faculties to make the choices which would lead him towards an external life of alignment - eventually becoming the CEO of a company that was driving a mission close to his heart.
This is an episode about
- The ability to find unity points within conflict
- Using love as an ACTION - actively searching for the ways in which we can connect with people we might disagree with
- The power of learning how to trust the flow of Nature even when our histories tell us that life doesn’t always go our way
- How Dan transcended his experiences as a child of narcissistic abuse
- Living in alignment with dharma (right action)
- Following what is expansive for our growth… even when it’s hard
